Soul Purpose: Returning to Flow State

Hello Loves,
If you’ve followed my blog, you know I’m being authentically and enthusiastically open about my journey. So here’s one more peek into the raw truth: I’ve been struggling.
For a few weeks, I felt re-energized and reconnected to my Soul Purpose. I slipped into a creative flow state, sharing my truths with the heartfelt aim of reaching the people who need it most. And for weeks, I diligently and consistently published blog posts, shared on social platforms, and kept the faith. Until I made the misstep of consulting with an AI for what posts to publish next.
The advice felt valid, made sense, and could fit well into my blog. However, every time I sat down to write on those topics, I hit a wall. I couldn’t focus. I couldn’t find the right words. I’d get distracted, put it down, and dread returning to it. Writing this blog became a chore that I didn’t want to do. That’s when I realized I needed to step back and re-evaluate.
Why had this suddenly become so difficult when before it had been so easy? What is it about this new theme that created such a block?
The answer was simple: it didn’t come from me – from deep inside, from my heart and soul. I was trying to shape my writing into someone else’s mold instead of stepping into the flow and allowing the message to pour through.
When I stepped back into alignment, everything began to move differently.

By stepping away from my process – the one I have uncovered and evolved over time, the one that truly works for me – I shut down the very flow I was trying to create.
So forgive me, Dear Reader, for being absent for a bit. And please revel with me in this vital lesson: when working in flow with your soul purpose, it will feel different. (As I’m writing these words, I feel a lightness in my body and an infusion of energy that hasn’t been there for days!)
Being this self-aware, having the ability to step outside the process and see it for what it is, has been a life-long lesson for me. I have a team of support people guiding me along this journey. They’ve helped me reclaim this flow. If you’d like me to join your support team, I invite you to reach out here.
Feel like sharing? What aspect of this struggle resonates with you the most?
